ATLANTA, March 16 - Schulten Ward Turner & Weiss, LLP is proud to announce that seven of our attorneys have been recognized as 2022 Super Lawyers.

Meet the Super Lawyers team:

Wm. Scott Schulten is the founding member of Schulten Ward Turner & Weiss, LLP. His practice includes representing clients in a broad range of commercial transactions, including the sale, leasing, and development of real estate, and the sale and acquisition of ongoing business ventures.

Kevin L. Ward is one of our firm's partners. After graduating from Emory University School of Law, Kevin established a reputation based on high-profile courtroom experience. During his first three years of practice, he successfully defended a Georgia-based national firm against the Trump organization in Donald J. Trump v. Positive Concepts, Ltd. He then represented Paulette Holyfield in Evander Holyfield's first divorce. These significant early cases established the direction of Kevin's unique practice of complex litigation in more than 20 states over the past 35 years.

David L. Turner, also a partner, is a veteran litigator and legal advisor with over 33 years of experience practicing law in Atlanta, Georgia. Known for his sharp intellect and diligent work ethic, David's versatility has enabled him to achieve successful outcomes for clients in a wide range of legal matters.

Eric L Weiss - As a partner in the law firm of Schulten Ward Turner & Weiss, LLP, Eric's practice includes the representation of owners and developers in the acquisition, disposition, development, and financing of commercial real estate. He has a broad range of experience in multi-family, senior housing, retail, office and mixed-use property types and has particular expertise in drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements, development agreements, construction, and easement agreements.

Partner Dean R. Fuchs brings over 26 years of litigation experience to the team. He has developed a national employment law practice which includes the representation of both employers and individuals, including class and collective actions in multiple state and federal courts across the country. Dean has particular expertise in wage and hour law, including handling misclassification and "off-the-clock" cases. He is also an experienced mediator and arbitrator registered with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution since 2010. Dean is a panelist on the American Arbitration Association's National Roster of Employment Law Arbitrators. Dean has been a Super Lawyer Honoree each year since 2012, holds a 10.0 rating from Avvo, and has been named to Georgia Trend's list of the state's "Legal Elite."

Partner Andrea L. Pawlak is a litigator who is as comfortable in a courtroom as she is working toward the resolution of a case. Over fifteen years of practice, Andrea has handled a variety of complex civil matters in multiple jurisdictions. Her practice began at a boutique environmental law firm, and she joined SWTW in 2007, primarily handling commercial and business litigation matters. Andrea also handles family law and employment law matters. She has won countless summary judgment motions, hearings, trials, and appeals. Andrea is a pragmatic and detailed-oriented litigator. She has received a number of awards and accolades, including being named as a Georgia Rising Star Super Lawyer for eleven consecutive years.

Jon R. Erickson is a partner in the firm's real estate practice group and specializes in commercial real estate development and finance. His practice is devoted to the representation of lenders, developers and end users of commercial real estate properties. Jon has over thirty-five years' experience in the purchase and sale, development and financing of multi-family, office and retail properties and the formation of limited liability companies, partnerships and joint ventures for these types of properties. He has also developed specific expertise in representing non-profit foundations in the area of "public-private ventures" with state agencies for the construction of student housing and recreational facilities in the state of Georgia and other projects across the southeast.
