Summary of most notable deals or cases

1. Eicher Motors collaborates with Spain’s Stark Future SL

We are delighted to announce that Stark Future, a Spanish company, and BDO Legal Spain worked together strategically to develop recreational electric motorcycles. This was done in conjunction with Lex Favios. A 50 million Euro investment would be made by Eicher Motors as part of the deal in order to purchase a 10.35% interest in Stark Future.

 2. Lancer Container FCCB listing on Luxemborg Stock Exchange

The foreign currency convertible bonds (FCCBs) of Lancer Container Lines Limited were listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, with a total offering of USD 30 million, with Lex Favios serving as Indian legal counsel. We handled every step of the procedure, including the drafting of the OC and doing legal due diligence.

Our Managing Partner, Sumes Dewan, our Head of Corporate Practice, Tanya Mishra, and Mohit Wilkinson oversaw the deal.

3. Indus Gas Listing of $160 Million Bonds

With regard to the listing of $160 million in bonds on the Singapore Exchange, Lex Favios served as Indian legal counsel (SGX). We reviewed the Offering Document and Disclosures for all of Indus Gas Limited's subsidiaries and completed the necessary legal due diligence on them.

4. Joint Venture in India for the Manufacturing of Lithium-Ion Batteries

Setting up a gigafactory/lithium-ion cell manufacturing plant(s) in India based on C4V's whole system for cell production and other related goods in India, Lex Favios served as legal counsel to J.P. Minda Group with CHARGE CCCV LLC.

5. Indian Legal Opinion for VTB Bank (PJSC)

Regarding the enforcement of bank guarantees and counterguarantees as well as the enforcement of the bank guarantee in accordance with Indian Regulations, we served as legal advisors to VTB Bank.

6. Restructuring of Techblue Software Private Limited

When Techblue Software Private Limited (TSL) underwent restructuring and became a WOS of Technology Blueprint Limited (TBL) through a share exchange agreement, Lex Favios served as TSL's legal counsel. Our responsibility was to create all essential paperwork for share transfers, offer restructuring advice, make pertinent disclosures, and assign all IPRs.

7.  Radisson Hotels – Approvals & Licenses

With regard to the clearance of all permits and licences necessary for hotel openings in places like Mussorie, Pahalgam, GIFT-City, Katra, Chennai, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Goa, Dharamshala, Nathdwara, and Surat, Lex Favios is serving as legal counsel to Radisson Hotels.

a) BW Legal World highlighted the agreement between Spain's Stark Future and Eicher Motors to jointly develop leisure electric motorcycles. Lex Favios and BDO Legal Spain served as Spain's Stark Future's legal counsels throughout the collaboration. The team was directed by Mr. Sumes Dewan, Managing Partner, and Ms. Tanya Mishra, Head of Corporate Practice at Lex Favios.

b) Our Managing Partner, Mr. Sumes Dewan, and our Head of Corporate Practice, Ms. Tanya Mishra, wrote an article for Lex Favios that was published in the India Business Law Journal and analysed the key challenges in hotel acquisition.
